Visits to Ballywalter Park

We welcome visitors to Ballywalter Park and are able to offer tours of the house and gardens.

This facility is of particular interest to groups such as Historical Societies, National Trust Members Groups, Women’s Institutes, Rotary & Round Table, Probus Groups and so on.

The tour of the house can be tailored to visitors’ interests and normally takes from 45 minutes upwards. Tours are normally led by Lord Dunleath or Mrs Vibse Lunn.

Refreshments can be provided by prior arrangement and can range from tea/coffee and scones through to a sit-down lunch. Further details on catering can be supplied on request.

THE HOUSE AND GARDENS ARE OPEN ON A BY APPOINTMENT BASIS ONLY

From time-to-time, the house may be open more generally – for example on European Heritage Open Days and in connection with charitable or other events taking place locally. However, please always check in advance before undertaking a journey.

Members and Friends of the Historic Houses Association are entitled to free admission on production of membership cards
