A couple of days a go after the silage had been cut, a tractor went by my office window and there was a huge swarm of bees buzzing around it. The driver stopped for a while and eventually went on his way and we thought no more about it. This afternoon we noticed that they had settled on the parapet by the library. We ran a friend who keeps bees and he passed the message on that rescue was on its way. True to his word the cold and homeless bees are as I write settling into their new home.
