Today we lunched at Ox in Belfast, because it is BD’s birthday. We had the most delicious lunch of egg yolk with truffle, lobster and the most delicious dessert involving nectarines – from the Walled Garden? – and honey. BD and I are so thrilled to have this fantastic food experience on our doorstep. It makes the hard work in the Walled Garden worth it. We delivered the peppers below and the tomatoes above. I just love the colours of these and of the tomatoes. Such local produce is hard to beat!Especially when it is made into these works or art:
