We went to Martin Wishart’s restaurant in Leith in 2010 and had the most fantastic meal. He gave us one of his rare cookery books, which I treasure, and we had such a good time. Tonight I made his crab cakes and Laura made her very French salad as an accompaniment ………………….

Martin’s crab cakes were the perfect accompaniment to the salad and after the visit from Ballynure & District Friendship Club, it was the perfect light dinner, quick and easy to prepare in the late evening sun on the West side of the house. Thank you Martin!
