Introducing Paradise Gardening Club at Ballywalter Park
~ Walled Gardens to host monthly meeting for the green fingered ~
Ballywalter Park is opening its Walled Garden to host the Paradise Gardening Club once a month. This Club will meet 10 months of the year starting on Saturday 19th January at 10am. The members only club, will be dedicated to horticulture tips and inspiration. Each session will be hosted by Lady Dunleath, head gardener Anna Hudson and Club Secretary & Brand Manager Lisa Camlin, experts and enthusiasts in gardening, specifically working in the climate of Northern Ireland.
The historic Walled Gardens will host to the club meetings, which will run between 10am and noon the third Saturday every month. Sessions will take place in the newly refurbished Potting Sheds and celebrate the best Northern Irish gardening has to offer.
Refreshments and cake will start or end each session, members will decide this at the first meeting. There will be a talk on the gardening tasks for the month ahead. Different green fingered top tips and horticulture expertise will be discussed.
Seed and plant swaps are warmly welcomed and there is a super special welcome pack for members. During 2019 a calendar of Potting Shed Day Courses will be launched, and these will be offered to members at a reduced rate.
We are planning to get some more and less well-known faces to join us in spring to inspire members with talks on creating the best garden for your space and offering expertise in a specific area of horticulture. As with all proper Clubs we will have an annual outing. I think late June or early July to a well- known and well-respected garden while the gardens are still at their best.
Annual membership costs £60, to be paid in advance or on arrival the 19th January, 2019. Updates and future plans will be advertised via our web-site on our Instagram account and on Ballywalter Park Twitter account. You can also email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
