St. Valentine’s Day 2015

Everything I’ve done today has been good for the heart. I woke up to the sun shining over the house and straight onto the Pleasure Grounds. If that does not gladden the heart nothing will.

I gave and received a card which made me feel loved. I gave chocolates and received Love Hearts my favourite sugary treat.

I took lots of exercise, as did BD, mowing. Look at my lines! His are at the top of the page.












And dinner tonight is McKeown’s best thick cod fillet which I will make into The Times’ Cod and Pea Pasty served with celeriac chips. I will use the last of my own frozen peas from last summer’s crop in the Walled Garden. My heart should hopefully be in good shape after all that.
