…..that’s chickweed to you and me. We have it everywhere in the glass houses and quite a bit outside. The photo is from the forcing house in the Walled Garden.
This little gem has the sweetest almost heart shaped leaves which I put into salad. Having cleared out a freezer I discovered two half lobsters, which I’m defrosting now and we’ll have them with chickweed and mizuna salad tonight. I’ll also bake some good bread to go with it. The lobsters are from a New Years celebration and Mr. McKeown’s in Bangor did me proud. They are top class lobsters. What a treat for a Monday!
